Calathea makoyana is named after the Polish plant collector, Ernest Makoy. It is known for its stunning foliage, which features intricate patterns of green, cream, and purple on the leaves, resembling the beautiful feathers of a peacock. Below are some information and care tips for Calathea makoyana:
- Light: Calathea makoyana prefers bright, indirect light. It thrives in areas with filtered sunlight, away from direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves
- Calathea makoyana thrives in high humidity environments. Mist the leaves regularly or place a humidifier nearby to provide the necessary moisture. Grouping plants together can also create a microclimate with increased humidity.
- Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water, as it can lead to root rot. Use filtered or distilled water to prevent mineral build-up.

RETURNS
All returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in original and undamaged condition, with all original pots.
RETURN PROCESS
