Monstera deliciosa, also known as the Swiss cheese plant, is a popular tropical houseplant native to Central and South America. The holes in the leaves are called “fenestrations” and are a unique feature of the plant. Below are some care tips for this plant:


  • Light: Monstera deliciosa prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as it can burn the leaves.
  • Water: Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Do not overwater, as this can cause root rot. Allow excess water to drain out of the bottom of the pot.
  • Humidity: Monstera deliciosa prefers high humidity, so it’s a good idea to mist the leaves regularly or place a humidifier nearby.
  • Soil: Use a well-draining soil mix that is rich in organic matter.
  • Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced fertilizer.

All returns must be postmarked within seven (7) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in original and undamaged condition, with all original pots.
